Day one: Arrive Lima Peru 6:00 am and transfer to the Manhattan Airport Hotel. Relax until noon and return to the airport for your flight to Iquitos.

Arrive Iquitos at 5:30 pm and transfer to La Casona Hotel for an overnight stay. Dinner at La Zorro Restaurant.

Day two: Early morning visit to Belen City. Paddle throuth the canals by dugout canoe while you observe the floating city waken. Breakfast in Iquitos. Later transfer to the boat for your trip on the Amazon to San Rafael village. Lunch at Base Camp. Afternoon hike to the sustainable garden and medicinal plant trail.

Day three: After breakfast visit with the shaman as he takes you around the nearby forest and garden to explain the healing nature of the plants of the rainforest. Later in the morning visit the Village of San Rafael and meet the people. Lunch in the Village.

After Lunch you marvel at the San Rafael Forest Reserve with over 400 species of plants and trees. Sections of the reserve are being used for research. Relax after the long hike and have dinner at base camp.

Day four: Early rise, breakfast, and depart for Urca Mirana to experience the culture of the Yagua Tribe. Lunch and dinner in the village with a family. Overnight stay in a specially constructed bungalow with indoor bath and toile

Day five: Leave Urca Mirana after breakfast and head to Mazan to transfer from the Napo River to the mighty Amazon River. Travel upstream to the village of Santa Maria where you will have lunch at La Bamboo overlooking the river. After lunch you will hike to the overnight lodge in the Primary Forest.

Experience the sights and sounds of the Primary Forest as the sunsets. Dinner at the forest lodge. After dinner take a night hike to see nocturnal animals and insects as they search for food. The next morning after breakfast return to base camp for lunch.

Day Six: Visit Santa Victoria Village to see the Regia Victoria giant water lilly and later go downstream on the Amazon River to Monkey Island to see endangered primates in a completely natural habitat and learn about conservation efforts taking place in the area. Dinner at base camp. Early rise for return to Iquitos.

Day seven: Last Day. Early rise to return to Iquitos for flight to Lima at 7:00 am. Visitors taking the afternoon flight will have breakfast in Iquitos and visit Questocha Zoo before transferring to the airport for an afternoon flight to Lima.
